Yes! All of our equipment is very user friendly, no previous experience required. We'll set up your session for you and talk you through how to use everything on arrival, and will be on hand for any issues along the way.

If you are recording video as well as audio, we ask that you please bring your own external hard drive so we can give you your files after the session, as they tend to be very large. If you have an external hard drive with USB-C port, you'll be able to record HD video directly onto it, and won't have to wait around to get your files at the end of the session.

No. We will set up your session ahead of arrival, show you how to use everything when you get here and will be on site to help with any issues, but all of our session are self-record/self-shoot.

We will upload your audio files to our cloud drive and will send you a download link after your recording. For video files, please bring an external hard drive so that we can give you your video files at the end of the session, as they tend to be very large.

If you have selected the 4K add-on, we will give you your 4K video files as .braw (Blackmagic Raw) files. To view these files you will need to install Blackmagic Raw. You should be able to use the files with most commercial video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro or Blackmagic’s free software DaVinci Resolve without having to process them. Or you can convert .braw files to .mp4 or .mov files by processing them through DaVinci Resolve.

Our studio is a working studio when it's not being used for external bookings, and therefore sessions running over may cause us to lose work, so we may charge you for any additional time used, at our discretion.

We are on the ground floor at street level. There are a two small ridges to get into the building, and one step up to the studio, but we have a ramp available (71cm wide ramp).

The narrowest doorway is 75cm.

We have ground floor toilets with low sinks, but no wall rail beside the toilet.

• If you do not have a flexible add-on, you can reschedule your booking once, and we require 72 hours’ notice.
  

• If you do have a flexible add-on, you can move your scheduled session up to three times up to 3 hours before the start time of your session.

• All studio booking are non-refundable.

Yes. We offer a bundle of x3 1 hour sessions for a 15% discount. You’ll find the bundles listed under Audio + Video and Audio only on the booking form.

Please ensure you leave time either side of when you actually want to record for, so that arrival and set up time is factored into booked session.

If you need to record multiple times on the same day, we kindly ask that this is booked as one continuous session e.g. two 1h podcast records scheduled for 10-11am and then 12-1pm should be booked as a 3 hour session 10-1pm.

The studio booth itself can accommodate a maximum of x4 people being recorded, and up to 1 producer.

There is plenty of space in the Green Room for additional guests to listen-in and watch the recording.
