about plosive productions
We love comedy that’s bold and innovative, that’s playful and daring. And funny. Comedy that’s funny.
We’re behind the Wells Comedy Festival in Somerset, now in its fourth year and bigger and better than ever. We produce monthly comedy nights in London including 110% John Kearns and Pat Cahill, and a number of shows annually at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe including, in 2017, Lucy Pearman’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer-nominated solo show ‘Maid of Cabbage’. We also produce audio content and podcasts, including the ‘Audible Presents’ podcast series at the Edinburgh Fringe. Our services include tour booking, programming, directing, writing, editing and consulting.
Plosive Productions was founded in January 2017 by ex-Time Out Comedy Editor Ben Williams and sold over 13,000 tickets to its events in its first year. We have a vast network of international contacts and over a decade of experience in the comedy industry across PR, live promotion, programming and journalism.
